Until recently, I never thought that a book could consist of anything other than a physical copy filled with crisp white pages. On a cold day, when the winds howled at the window and the roar of the fire kept me curled up inside, I never pictured myself holding an electronic device. That just didn’t fit the scenario. Something about a traditional book, as opposed to some type of e-reader, always felt natural, comfortable, and traditional. And I’m a girl that loves tradition.

My husband, on the other hand, is all about technology. He tried to convince me of the ease of use, the convenience, and the draw of the iPad or the Kindle. But I just wasn’t on board. That was until a plane trip last year. Rather than piling six different books into my carry on, Brad managed to persuade me to just bring my iPad. I fought him on it, but ultimately agreed that he was probably right–that it would be easier to bring just one item versus half a dozen.

After that day I haven’t turned back. I love the ability to download a book (often at a fraction of the cost) and start reading it immediately. It gives me that much more time to dive into the story, become immersed in the lives of the characters, and then move on to the next captivating series without even leaving my home.

So for today’s giveaway, I’ll be awarding one lucky winner at $20 Amazon Gift Card! What would you do with that? I know I’d spend it on e-versions of several books currently on my wish list (and I have many).

To enter the drawing, simply share this blog post to either your Facebook or Twitter (use those handy dandy share icons below) and then come back here to let me know how you shared in the comments section. I’ll be announcing the lucky winner tonight at 10pm PST.

And don’t forget to enter the week-long Kindle giveaway while you’re at it if you haven’t already!!!
